It's my favorite time of year again: New Year's Day. I love the fresh start to a new year, like a clean slate; the perfect opportunity to start anew. And with 2010, I can't help but be optimistic. Not only because it combines two of my favorite hockey numbers, but because I can't go backwards any more, so forward it is!
2010 is a new decade to go after a whole lot of new wishes, hopes, and dreams...to laugh a lot, cry a little, and grow and change more than ever before. I'll try to be a little less pessimistic...it's part of who I am, so I'm not gonna ditch it altogether, but I'll try to be a bit more upbeat overall.
So I have a few plans other than more optimism for 2010...here are a few words I would like to embrace this year!
~ Just throw it away!
~ Take a chance!
~ Do it now!
